This is the group on our last day, thanks Josh and Anise for letting us stay at your place!
During the Olympics the floor I work on was featured on a local news station, here's the link to the clip of that video, once again, I love my job!

Last Monday I got to go and see all the behind the scenes process that go on for the floor. I saw where all the cord blood work is done. BANK YOUR CHILD'S CORD BLOOD. Just a donation to the Cord Blood Bank, it does amazing stuff and is saving lives everyday. On a sadder note, one of the patients on the floor that has been up there since I started in December passed away the same day. I was very lucky to get the privilege of taking care of her, knowing her family, and witnessing their faith. I am sure she is playing in a dog park, driving her car, and riding horses pain free now. I hope she has run into some of her other friends from 5200 up in heaven, I have to think there is a party going on all the time up there.
I had a Peds Bone Marrow Transplant training day on Monday. We had 5 hours of information. I thought it was very helpful. It's amazing the resources we have from the more experienced nurses on the floor.
I will start my normal schedule on the floor this week, hopefully things will start to click. There should be more by the end of the week, I work both wed. and thur. More to come...
